MLK Center’s Prevention team will host their Annual Product Drive - PAD on Saturday, October 14th from 9am-1pm. They will be taking hygiene product donations to keep our center restrooms stocked with products for the public. This initiative has proven to be a great need in our community.

What is PAD? #PERIODACTIONDAY (PAD) was started in 2019 by PERIOD. and originally named National Period Day. In 2020, it was renamed to Period Action Day and now serves as a global day of advocacy to take action against period poverty and stigma.

Globally, 500 million people across the globe lack access to menstrual products and bathroom facilities during their menstrual cycles.
