After-school Program
FREE FOR CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTEN-9TH GRADE IN THE ROCK ISLAND/MILAN SCHOOL DISTRICT
The MLK Center provides homework help and tutoring; a snack and a meal; and fun activities and field trips — all at no cost to families. Monday-Friday from 2:30-6pm. Transportation from select schools to the MLK Center is provided. Call (309) 732-2999 for more information.
Begin the registration process by registering below or come to the MLK Center (preferred) between 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Spaces are limited.
UPDATE: There will be limited spots available on Monday, November 10th. These spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Summer Day Camp

Our program is for children who attend kindergarten during the 2025-2026 school year to 9th grade.

Family Advocacy Center
Our team of three social workers provides advocacy, support, and community-based services throughout Rock Island County, IL, helping families stay together and build a strong foundation for the future.
Prevention
Our Prevention program is a team of specialists that provide curriculum in the Rock Island/Milan School District to prevent substance abuse and teen pregnancy.
